I'm not a Kings fan but I follow a guy who often covers them. He has mentioned in tweets a couple times something like this:

Usual scene in Kings' room: empty w/ only Quick and Brown immediately available. No accountability after the captain and Kopitar. Ever.

Is this the norm? What exactly does he mean? etc. He covers other teams too but often mentions this with the Kings. I don't quite follow?
