I can't f***ing stand the always whining dipsh*t Jon Cooper. So this feels very good.

Kucherov absolutely hates playing against us. I don't know how many giveaways he had last game but it looked like each time he got and was just a bit of pressure put on him, he'd fumble the puck or throw it in nomansland.

I did not like the second goal at all. It was so predictable what would happen 10 seconds beforehand when Point won the puck from Bennett while backchecking, and then maintaining his speed slingshooting around their DZ and slicing into the open ice. Gotta do a better job on that, you could see it from a mile down the road.

The PP and PK are both nearly top 10 now and the goals against is coming down slowly during this 10-2-1 run.

I will likely eat my words and Ekblad puts up another 40+ point season but that's because he wants his next contract to start with a 7 again.
Happy to see him doing well though.

Cooper is a great coach, but he certainly has a manner that irritates fans of opposing teams. I think that is the nicest way I can put it.


Remember when it was obvious, in 2021 and 2022, that the Lightning would muck up the game to force as much special teams play as possible? Remember that? Yeah, they need to find something new.
