Please quit making excuses. He has some bad habits and Bedard hasn't been bad overall but hardly anything close to generational.
In the game tonight we see the smooth skaters like Nazar, Rinzel and Oliver making an impact. There's no doubt it in my mind that Bedard needs to work on playing the game at a higher speed to reach his potential .... the game gets quicker every year.

Right, Bedard has said himself that he needs to get faster. That doesn’t negate that he has linemates that are nowhere near his talent level
