Last shift was a microcosm for Panarin. Took the puck into the zone. Once he realized there was no path to the net he curled towards the corner, then gave the puck away instead of taking a hit. Just no battle right now.

I agree, even last year, you just cant arge woth production but i hated the way he seemed to evolve his play in a more static, couterattack style. I watched all his games with the CBJ and torts and he was NOT playing like that at all... he was always hustling back, getting on the cycling with PLD and atkinson... we'll see how it goes because he's just so productive you cant really argue but when results arent there and he start to be an absolute non factor on the other facets of the game, its frustrating
