I think Laf is very mature for his age, and the speed he plays at, the way he sees the ice.

Penguins aren't that good this year...sorry they just aren't.

We aren't either thus far either...lol

That said, is it asking too much for a nice tidy ho hum 4-1 type of win?

I know there's a lot of anger with Quinn right now, but having gone through many beginning's of seasons, I think those beginnings, especially with a young team, can often be incredibly frustrating. Quinn is doing a shit load of frustrating things as he's done at the beginning of every year. But as the year progresses, he tends to find his groove and the tinkering going on now helps calm things down in the long run.
 
pretty sure the game will go like this

give up a goal 45 seconds into the game

then take a penalty a minute later
give up a PP goal

I think we're all on edge because we started with ugly losses to the Islanders and Devils, and Jack Hughes had a big night against us. If we were on our customary west coast 0-3 road trip to start the season, there would be annoyance yes but It wouldn't be so visceral.

That said, if Laf and Kakko go pointless again tonight, f***ING FIRE HIS ASS
 
Looking forward to the 14 Malkin one timers on the 6 PPs they will get.

Big test for Laffy going up against Crosby in the first road game of his career.
