Thinking about Oilers Mount Rushmore. Hard to decide just 4 players when 6 of the greatest players to ever play the game have worn Oilers colours ..3 on 3 with all players in their prime who wins? Coffey and McDavid in a foot race… Leon vs Messier leaning on each other from the first face off… can Kurri shut down Gretzky?

Coffey as the point Dman skater, dishing to Drai who threads a pinpoint puck (backhanded, no less) to Kurri who could always bury a puck that Wayne got to him.

Awe, who am I kidding. Either one. I’d love to see that matchup in the primes. Oiler fans have had a great view to world class talent for generations. Very privileged.

Gretzky, Kurri, Coffey vs McDavid, Leon, Messier. That's a far more interesting debate, isn't it?

That Oilers Mt. Rushmore is certainly tricky. Gretzky, Messier, McDavid...then is it Leon, Coffey, or Kurri? That last hole is so hard.
