Either way, I’d be surprised if Dundon didn’t tell them to drop the #Redvolution campaign and come up with something fresh.
I hated that campaign from the beginning

Probably. Michael Smith has been hinting it might be changing for a while on the podcast. I think it's cool to have something carry over for multiple seasons, but it never had the success of "Rock the Red" for instance. Granted, we've sucked, and it was a mediocre at best tagline.Either way, I’d be surprised if Dundon didn’t tell them to drop the #Redvolution campaign and come up with something fresh.

The worst was when they rolled out THIS IS HOCKEY right before they went into the gutter. Became a parody of itself almost immediatelyI feel like they’ve generally done OK with branding campaigns, but it’s a lost cause when the team is bad. When the tagline gets associated with failure, it’s counterproductive to keep rolling it out.
Pretty sure they rolled out #redvolution with the idea that the team would be on a strong upward arc by this time. In reality, not so much.
Someone on Reddit claimed to know someone who'd seen it. Said it was pretty much the same as the old black but with no triangle behind the flag. I'm intrigued by this idea and never would have considered it. I like the triangle but don't know if it's necessary.
If true people will read into it as "Dundon is subtly signaling **** the research Triangle, he's moving the team to Houston as soon as he can"
“Yeah Tom I mean that looks great and everything but is that... the outline of the state of Texas behind the logo?”
No triangle, huh?
How much you wanna bet they added the second flag to the stick, hence the 'Take Warning'....
I mean the only reason there was 1 flag to begin with was because it never looked right with the 2 flags on the Triangle
I’d gladly give up the triangle for a second flag.
"....and your mascot suggestion is kinda odd, Harvey the Hurricane?"
Do you think they would replace Triangle with outline of North Carolina or NC & SC outline just spitballing
Excuuuuse you...If they wanted to be realistic, they should find an outline for the city limits of Raleigh because lets face it that is where fandom of this team ends.
We could use that logo space to be the first team to embrace jersey advertising.
Paxil, Zoloft, Jack Daniel’s... so much potential for strong brand placement.
