Probably. Michael Smith has been hinting it might be changing for a while on the podcast. I think it's cool to have something carry over for multiple seasons, but it never had the success of "Rock the Red" for instance. Granted, we've sucked, and it was a mediocre at best tagline.

I feel like they’ve generally done OK with branding campaigns, but it’s a lost cause when the team is bad. When the tagline gets associated with failure, it’s counterproductive to keep rolling it out.

Pretty sure they rolled out #redvolution with the idea that the team would be on a strong upward arc by this time. In reality, not so much.

Someone pointed on That one of the pictures might be a Canes wordmark. I’m liking what I see so far but if a wordmark alone is on the front I’ll be pissed.

Edit. Well looking at it, it might be a helmet logo. Doesn’t look stitched on and it looks like we are seeing some of the gloves too in the pictures.

Someone on Reddit claimed to know someone who'd seen it. Said it was pretty much the same as the old black but with no triangle behind the flag. I'm intrigued by this idea and never would have considered it. I like the triangle but don't know if it's necessary.

I would love to see that design with two flags. I like that look more than the primary logo, but my OCD side was never able to get over the fact that one flag is just a storm warning and two is the hurricane warning.

If they wanted to be realistic, they should find an outline for the city limits of Raleigh because lets face it that is where fandom of this team ends.

And hell no to SC being part of any logo. Those chuckleheads aren't even aware there is a hockey team up here.

I always wanted a 2 flag logo, but thought they went with one because it would be hard to fit 2 without looking too large or cluttered. 2 would be great if they could do it nicely, but our first flag logo was cool, too. I just want the flags back.

Jack Daniels made a Hurricane Punch beverage at one point. It was on par with the on Ice product we’ve been treated to the last 9 years.
