So, brains can grow.
Damn, too bad that wasn't Rust who Geno fed.
He’s been doing that a ton last few games as well. So many safe plays back to the D to regroup instead Of just trying to dice through whatever coverage.Galchenyuk just made a smart safe play. Good.

Hopefully the coaches are getting through to him. Could be huge.
Or it could be a fluke event.
Sully should really be #1 for Jack Adams so farConsidering no one got to him in 8 years, it would be huge and Sully deserves an award.
He's in a way different role than he has been in the past. We don't need him to be "the guy" like his other teams wanted. I think it's easier to make a safer play when you know your team can score without forcing things.Considering no one got to him in 8 years, it would be huge and Sully deserves an award.
OTT is on our players quick...

MP is playing solid so far.
Considering how JJ looks with Tanger and how MP is starting to look with Marino, should we play Dumo and Schultz together when they come back?
That'd give us 3 pairs who can feed our forwards on the breakout. That would be crucial to making Sully's system even more 2016-like.

Agreed, him & Paul Maurice have been working with half & half NHL / AHL squads this season. At least give the man a nod considering the roster he has had to ice.

Im sure the coaching staff is nothing but pleased with these type of problems. This is literally night and day from last season.... And yes, this is most definitely because of Marino.
liked Galchenuk's swagger but one too many moves. Got back to D well.
