Almost all of his hits are legal. It's just rare to have a guy with his size, power, timing, and balance.

Closest guy to that style is probably a guy like TJ Oshie. Who is much smaller.

Ovi plays like he was a football running back. As does Oshie. Those guys have rare balance to go through people.

They're questionable. Like last year in the playoffs he was just going around trying to hurt McDonagh because he was shut down and frustrated. It's predatory. Just like Phanuef and Malkin. I despise those kind of hitters.

I wouldn't put malkin in the same category as Phaneuf or Ovi. Phaneuf and Ovi are two of the best hitters in the league. That they know how to explode through guys doesn't make them predators.

On that play, Nash was actually closer to our own zone than Kreider when the puck was turned over. I watched Nash gliding back to our zone, while Kreider was skating as fast as he could and stopped the attack. There`s a lot of guys on this team who should be wearing that A instead of Nash.
