Leo has 3 points in his last 3 games. Some of you really need to f***ing chill about this kid.
He is still learning the game, producing the best he can on a 3rd line and bad team PP.
Zegras should get leo going.Leo needs at least one winger who sees the ice like he does, That was Zegras, or even Terry but Terry has found a home with Frank and Strome. Z is the only way to get him more confidence and scoring opportunities.

Lacombe tied for 4th in Defenseman goals.

Omg it happened!!!
I don't know what this strange feeling is. Is it joy? Or jubilation?
I’ve never disagreed with the fact he has a couple guys next to him that shouldn’t be there. But he could definitely use an attitude adjustment via his body language is all. I’ll give him huge props for getting better in the face off dot lately. Rhats been great to see. So Zegras comes back, and we move him back into the wing? Verbeek desperately needs to find us a scoring wingerLeo needs at least one winger who sees the ice like he does, That was Zegras, or even Terry but Terry has found a home with Frank and Strome. i agree with this. I think he’s not completely healthy. I don’t put much credence into the linemate theory, feels like it is meant to deflect blame onto others for his not great play. He'll be fine. There's something going on with him, could just be confidence as some are saying. I still think the injuries are altering his playstyle, doesn't want to get rocked
I mean I think it's fair to be concerned about how it's going for him but yeah some of the criticism is over the top. He still has room to grow and improve and plenty of time. But it's been undeniably rough for him these days.Leo has 3 points in his last 3 games. Some of you really need to f***ing chill about this kid.

Sennecke will be glued to Leo for 15 seasonsLeo needs at least one winger who sees the ice like he does, That was Zegras, or even Terry but Terry has found a home with Frank and Strome. Z is the only way to get him more confidence and scoring opportunities.
What about Gauthier?Sennecke will be glued to Leo for 15 seasons
Chokers by not finishing is what I'm talking about. They’re not chokers, whoever said that. They’re clearly pretty damn clutch. The problem is that they’re not good so they need crazy good goaltending AND clutch scoring to survive these ugly ass games, and they’re getting it.
(from veterans) (and LaCombe)
I've repeatedly said that Leo is at least partially responsible for his own struggles and decision making. But chemistry matters in this sport and especially in this league. He doesn't have any with Killorn who is supposed to be his veteran mentor. Like sure, Leo's turnovers kill momentum and flow. But he's a 20 year old kid who still hasn't played a full season worth of NHL games. Killorn is a long time veteran who handles the puck worse than our fourth liners save for Johnston (some nights). Killorn losing speed because he's 34 years old is not an excuse. Guys like Stone and Robertson are two of the slowest players in the league and granted they're more naturally talented but Killorn fumbles basic passing plays under no pressure. It's expected that a kid with this little experience is going to make mistakes. It's not deflecting blame to say that Killorn being such a turnover machine is making it harder for Leo to work on his offensive timing and decision making because he, by virtue of Killorn fumbling plays so often (on top of his own mistakes), the line has to spend that much more time defending and trying to retrieve the puck. That's not deflecting blame, that's objective reality.i agree with this. I think he’s not completely healthy. Leo truly has not been good for a while but it could very well be because of some physical thing. I also feel like he is slower than earlier in the year.
Also there’s gotta be more appreciation for nuance around here. Saying Leo hasn’t been good this year ≠ expressing concern about him long-term.
Nah tonight's performance sucked. Gibby bailed this team out. They played one great period and two awful ones.I think people will quickly memory-hole just how bad that game was and focus on the recent run of standing points in the last ten or so games.

I still maintain everything I said about Killorn. He occasionally pops in with a strong offensive moment here and there like that set up to Lacombe, but those moments are interspersed with a cascade of poor decisions with the puck that kill momentum. Hell I feel like even Lundestrom would be better on Leo's wing in Killer's spot.
I still agree with others that Leo needs to do more on his own to get out of his funk but this line he's on is not helping him do that. At all. They hit that once in a blue moon solid connection to end up on the scoresheet, but beyond that, the line is busted. This team/coaching staff should be doing more to facilitate Leo's development. At least *try* a different line combination and see if that helps.
First period was mostly good, and the rest was panicking against relentless pressure.I think people will quickly memory-hole just how bad that game was and focus on the recent run of standing points in the last ten or so games.
Possibly for sure. Good call. Those 3 together. If not, cutter will dominate a 2nd line rollWhat about Gauthier?
Leo fumbles the puck himself plenty. I think somebody said it earlier that Killorn might have more points himself if not for that. Of course he’d have some more points with better players but I don’t think he’d be playing better. We just disagree big time on this.I've repeatedly said that Leo is at least partially responsible for his own struggles and decision making. If we get Z back and could add a scorer I actually think while it is a bit of a dream… but not a completely unrealistic one.6 pts out of a wild card spot
If we can get this down to 4 by end of month ( tough schedule this month) that would be amazing6 pts out of a wild card spot
