It’s important to keep that in mind when evaluating PV IMO. Three times he’s been saved from himself (Stamkos, Marchessault, Klingberg). Lindholm and Montour are arguably a fourth and fifth time.

Lightning played last night?! Well that would normally be great, but given our record playing both backup goalies + teams on a back to Back. Until the trend changes, we shouldn’t expect to be the better looking team. I’ve expected this trend to change now for years. I would’ve gone broke many times over betting against this trend. But I do finally feel this time might be different

Per AHL transactions, Nesterenko was sent down after the last game and was called back up today. Gulls also play tonight and Verbeek has been happy to go with no spare forwards at home for most of the year, all that seems to point to a decent chance he plays tonight?
