And why would we want to be as stupid as San Jose?
If you're building for the future, why run a young player into the ice?
Give them a few years to fill out, and learn how to avoid contact, before you dump a huge workload on them.
You're making an assumption that all players are the same. If San Jose is stupid, then what are the Flyers?

Anyone else get that stomach bug going around? Hit me Saturday after working a youth hockey tournament. Still on the mend. I even wound up having to cancel a championship game on Sunday due to losing kids on both teams to flu-like symptoms. Sucks.

Needless to say no NYE festivities for me which means watching this Battle of the Bads bullshit tonight. All eyes on Celebrini/Michkov Calder race.

I had a stomach bug two sundays ago. It was bad the first 24 hours but by like 48 hours I was fine & started eating light & could hold liquids. The first 24 hours though I couldn’t even stand without getting nauseous enough to the point of throwing up. I couldn’t drink liquids either without throwing up. I had a serious fever too.

Once the serious nauseous & like stomach acid in my stomach dissipated I just started pounding liquids to get better. I used Gatorade, pedialyte, & smart water with electrolytes in it. It was pretty much gone by day 3. I had off work anyway on that day 3 but if i didn’t I would have just went in I was feeling that much better. I was still eating light to be cautious but by day 4 I was eating what I normally eat again.
