Yes! Let's play run and gun with Toronto! What can possibly go wrong?! The stonehands Rangers will miss the net on all their scoring chances, but I doubt Kessel, Kadri, Lupul, JVR, and Raymond will miss many of theirs.

I'm betting first goal is on odd-man rush or breakaway by Toronto coming out of their zone after a Rangers' missed shot leaves a bunch of guys trapped in the o-zpme.

was involved in 3 of the best 4 chances in the period. I can certainly see why, when he had players like MSL, Vinny L, Loui Eriksson, James Neal and Benn he got more assists than he does now (his GPG as a Ranger is almost identical to what it's been over his carrer, but his APG he way down).

Decent is the problem. Getting paid big money but he's on pace to put up 2nd line center point totals.

I feel the same way. It feels to me like we just survived the period. We're giving up more chances than previous seasons, and not generating any good scoring chances.
