Honestly, Jackson Lacombe deserves full marks. The past 8-10 games he looks like a new player. Playing like a legit #3D. I still have concerns and doubts about Cronin and the development staff but there's no denying that JL is on the right track.

We are getting lucky with our scoring and great goal tending. I'll take it, but I know if our netminders are not standing on their heads, then we might be having different outcomes. It's not a sustainable way of playing, but we're on the winning side against the Oil and Jets! Although, our offense is still snooze, snooze, snooze, goal!, snooze, snooze, snooze, goal, etc...

After watching Gudas play mainly as an honorary Jet all game and watching Gibson handle the puck like it's a live grenade, of course Gudas scores the game-tying goal and Gibson gets the primary assist in OT.

Sports make no sense. I love it!

Maybe it’s just hopium but I haven’t felt like the last 5+ games our offense was a snooze fest. We lack finishers, but we’re getting the chances much more than we were earlier.

Heres the thing that stick sout to me when it comes to our play and Crones. If hes as bad for the locker room as the SC "sources" say he is, I would assume we would be seeing the team flounder when down late in a game, but they have been doing the opposite. The continue to battle. So something is working (?).

Pack it in kids, Cronin is making it out of the season alive.

I know this is (well-played) sarcasm, but there might be something to it. How deflating must it be to continually fail at the power play? We didn't have to worry about that tonight! The Jets played like little angels out there.

LaCombe's rating feels off as it doesn't match the eye test as he was part of the PK unit that shutout the Jets' PP twice and part of the OT crew, including on the game winner. He was on the ice for two GF's and one GA. Natural Stat trick doesn't list his two "rush attempts" in their game log either. And LaCombe was Gudas' partner for most of the night!
