Nope. And then some people on here wonder why some of us were going bat **** crazy with all of the losses to the mediocre teams. That was the season for them and they blew it. I don't think people realize how difficult it's going to be to make it in now. They have a real tough schedule and they've also learned some real nasty habits. It's going to be a major uphill battle.

Absolutely and if the Isles make the playoffs and we don't, then you can look at all the times we no showed against the Isles and lost. That could be the difference in the Isles making the playoffs, and the Devils missing the playoffs.

also before the season we thought we had 8 nhl d-men. well we do, but they're all 4/5 d-men except for greene who could be a passable #2. that's bad.

The schedule from here on out isn't harder or easier than it's been all season. Boston is the only team we consistently get smacked by. We have a winning record against Pittsburgh, we should beat Philly, Buffalo, and Florida, we've played Ottawa and Montreal tough each time we've played them, and we can get at least a split against the Rangers. Just a matter of showing up to actually play, not so much who we have to play against.

Easier said than done lately with this bunch (in regards to your latter point).

Watch how high the opposing forwards play our D. They know that cycled puck is gonna go back to the top and they KNOW there's nothing the Devils can do with it. Have we scored a deflection goal all season?
