We played great until the last 5 minutes. What a complete meltdown. Amazing game by us until then. That Zibanejad post (who had been missing the net all night) would have made the difference had it gone in. We had terrible puck luck in general and I feel bad for Hank, though he did us no favors at the end. Skjei-Trouba were horrible. Horrible. Though looking back, it was mostly Trouba at fault. ADA was our best player.

Both of them were terrible. 3 straight goals with the same two defense men on the ice spread out over minutes. One or both of them should be benched next game. Looked like they stopped trying.

Trouba got walked on the 3rd goal. He then had plenty of opportunity to disrupt Hayes on the 4th goal and just conceded the lane to the net with a half assed seat toward him at the last second. Brutal plays by him. Just brutal.

Horrible 3rd period defensively.

2nd goal isn't really his fault. An elite D would have slid over and done something on the Hayes rush but he's not that.

1st is inexplicable in a "I want to write a thesis on the dichotomy of man and God with Jacob Trouba as the focus" and 3rd was just garden variety awful.
