I agree. I love his outlet pass and I love his speed. If he can be Redden with actual foot speed, he'd be a really good 5/6 right now. And if he can develop his defense a bit more, he'll move into our top 4.

Pro-rated cap hit this late in the season.

Letang only makes 3.75M for now. Orpik similar. Guys like Dupuis, Kennedy, Sutter, Cooke, Adams, Vitale, Despres, Bennett, Engelland are all dirt cheap pretty much. Kunitz's contract is like 3.5M. Only Crosby, Malkin are above 6M. Neal and Fleury are around 5M. Everyone else is less.
