Torts has personally called out Pyatt to the media and has been severely limiting his ice time in recent games.

I get not being a Torts fan, but the irrational Tortorella conspiracies need to stop already. :facepalm:

so why is he playing then? Miller could be in over him... Haley could have been brought up again over him, newburry etc, list goes on and on of people who do more than Pyatt does.

7 points in the last 7 games. He's pretty much the least of the worries on the team.

Pyatt hasn't been a liability. In many games this season, Miller has been a liability. Newbury can be a liability. Pyatt hasn't been contributing much, but he also hasn't been making glaring mistakes like Miller has.

That said, I do agree Haley deserves more of a look. I liked what he brought as a 4th liner while he was here.

Those two on NBC are Ranger haters, don't recall anything positive they've ever said in regards to the Rangers... Never watch the pregames on NBC because of it.... Pretty obvious, and I'm surprised nobody there ever addresses it..
