These last 2 games have been impressive. Need more from a couple guys but on the whole everyone playing pretty well.

That’s two damn good teams they just beat to close out 2024. Combine this with a USA win over Canada and I think I’m finally over Sunday’s Packers loss to Minnesota.

Yeah, the teams aren't anywhere close to the same anymore. Not the same jackasses to hate on, or the same antics from a lot of those old school rivals. For me, the Kings are still the only team I really hate.... and Sharks. Well... and all Canadian teams, but that's personal lol

Leo is not going to produce on that line, I’ve accepted it, a good example in this game, he creates an odd man rush, passes to Leason who makes a weak attempt on goal. Also, If the PP scored more he’d have a heck lot more points. He has made some great plays on there , but no one can finish.
One good thing, he went 50% on the FO’s, so getting better there. So let him work on that and his defensive game and when Z gets back can hopefully start producing again.
I mean he still is Tied for 3rd on this team in goals and played 6 lesser games. It’s just a lack of finish on this team.
Right now really like what I’m seeing from Gauthier on both sides of the ice. Has really adjusted to the NHL level. Leo is not there yet and that’s ok.

Didn’t see the GWG. I turned it off after the Lundestrom non-call and the Meier goal.
Pretty surprised when I turned it back on with a couple minutes left and we were winning.

Our goalies give us a chance to win every night, if we upped our scoring a bit and fixed power play…. Were not that far off of playoffs
Idk if scoring can be fixed under Cronin tho…. Even with a healthy zegras and another top 6 guy

I probably won’t get concerned long-term at any point this year. What would be concerning is if he’s at a 30-35 point pace again next year. Still has been a disappointing year relative to what I think expectations should be.
I don’t think it’s as simple as Z coming back either, I don’t think they really put up that many points together anyway. Leo just hasn’t been that good this year, a lot of it is independent of his linemates IMO. Hell, Killorn has looked and has been more impactful on both sides of the puck than Leo for quite a while.
