Pretty average hockey game, couple missed chances for both teams. Can't think of a Rangers player who's looked particularly good or particularly bad, I guess Hank made a good save or two

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see where this game is heading.

The Rangers have done a pretty good job in holding the Pens (a team that is one of the best in the NHL) down imo. Let's see if the Rangers can get a goal and prevent Crosby and co from getting momentium.

Not mad. Just looking for some insight as to why. I can't follow them as much as I used to. When I had time a few weeks ago, the line of Kreider, Stepan and Zucarella was going pretty good, and I was wondering why it was broken up and Nash was put there? If you don't know, fine. If you, do can you please explain the rational for it. Thanks.

Said something about the Pens young D not trying to pass through the Rangers fore checkers and followed it up with how the Rangers have no fore checkers anyway, because it is non-existent. Then he said their 6 shots are not good enough.

That line flatlined. They weren't doing much. They were put back together a game or two ago then broken up again

Team was struggling and AV had to swap the lines to get some new "go" into the team. Thats why the line was split up. Plus it wasnt producing as much as they wanted it to, but then again the team wasnt producing at all.

Appart from the first game, the production has been pretty evenly spread amongst the lines since

The Pens are depleted, defense is so inexperienced. Why oh why can we not dominate these guys? This is our building, these are our fans. Why are we letting them stay in this game?

Good. It was a solid period from the Rangers taking advantage of a physically annihilated pens team. But, WAY too soon to say whether they will keep on playing well or Pens step up their game.
