I’ve said it 1000 times and I’ll say it 1000 more - it’s because they have absolutely no chemistry. They play totally different games and seems like they have no idea where the other person is on the ice.

And then Leason is just invisible and offers no real support for either
Yeah it's apparent once again today. It's apparent every game but I've had in person views of it the past three games. There's nothing there. They don't work together well at all.

I don’t think it’s an ideal combo but it doesn’t explain everything like why they seldom win battles and turn over the puck a lot.

Because they’ve been forced to play in a terrible combo for an entire season without any hope of change.

I think both are mentally over it
