Georgiev was absolutely brutal. Defense was bad, but he let in two terrible goals.

This team needs structure. Maybe not 6 goalie system structure and not AV chase everyone structure but something in the middle would be good for everyone. Sadly we're drifting closer and closer to the AV style.

Yupp. It seems like goaltending was saving our ass this whole time. Then again, good teams almost always have good goaltending. I actually don’t think we’ve been playing horrible recently considering poor goaltending and bad composure. We just need to start playing like a team.

We're at 31st in the league in shots differential this season. 29th last season. On pace for -520 shots differential. 6.5 shots per game and we're ranked 30th in the league in shots per game. It's not a lack of a shooter's mentality. The team is trying to shoot and it still isn't working. Quinn's system is getting dunked on at an NHL level.

Does anyone else miss the old days when 80% of NHL teams made the playoffs? Not that we'd go far anyway, but it sure would make me feel a lot more invested in watching the rest of the season. Didn't the North Stars make the finals one year with a sub .500 record? And actually took Mario's Penguins to 6 games? Too many friggin teams now.
