First off, ****. What a call.

Second off, good. Keep losing, get the highest pick you can, and be so out of it by the deadline that Slats is forced to trade Cally and G for 1st's and maybe a prospect added on for Cally, trade D. Moore and Boyle for seconds(maybe late 1st for Boyle), Pyatt and Pouliot for whatever you can get. With those 3 1sts, one of which will be top 5 or at the least top 10, 3 seconds, a good prospect, and some key FA signings, we could be competitive next year even and would be set up really well for down the road. It's better than getting a 7 or 8 seed, maybe beating the Caps since we always find a way to do that, and then getting blown out by a real team(Heck, right now, the Caps probably blow us out in 4 or 5). This year could be a blessing in disguise, problem is, we have to trust Sather to find it...
