Kakko was too thin first year then had to bulked up but it looks like he overdid it trying to gain size and is now fat and slow. Next year he will be a bull on skates.

We just need to keep Laffy on the second line with Panarin. Solidity our 3rd line, and establish a bottom 6 pair , and we’re a serious cup contender that would be extremely hard to beat. We can definitely establish that before the TDL so Drury needs to be aggressive because we do got the assets

I want Lafreniere with Strome.

Two birds with one stone - helps Laf and also makes Strome possibly worth a new contract. If he can get Lafreniere going then I'll pay him whatever he wants.

Yeah even though it makes "sense" Kakko just doesn't seem to have clicked with Mika and Kreider and was put there when he was finally looking comfortable with Panarin

Kid is playing fantastic lately, really shouldn’t have those two goals if their NHL goalies but he’s being rewarded.

Stringing 2 good games is nice, but he needs to be consistent. Remember Kakko at the beginning of the season? He looked great, now... I don't know what he's doing out there. But it's not good hockey. That I am sure of.

Play then until they do. Anyone should have chemistry with Panarin. Laf is playing extremely confident now so they should be together. They’ll both be here for a long long time and both are super talented might as well force them, eventually Laf will light it up

We need to tone it down a bit with the tofu knocking around here. I ate some delicious mapo tofu today, and tomorrow my wife and I are going to order pizza and put the leftovers on top of it for a terrific treat. Can't wait.

No matter the end result, I hope Gerard tells his players this is the way they have to play when Panarin comes back. If they can have a 4 attacking lines mentality with Panarin's skill, they'll do well.
