Start them mostly in offensive zone then.
Tlusty - Staal - Semin works fine even tho its an very offensive balanced line.

First of all that line doesn't have a really small guy out there. 2ndly they play a different and more puck carrying kind of hockey. Dumping the puck in often means giving the oposition the puck and at times they will gain our zone, leaving three of our worst defensive players out there. Even if you get McD and Girardi out with that line, they're bound to struggle. If MZA is going to be effective in the top six, he'll need a power forward on the other wing. Maybe MZA-Richards-Callahan would work .

Hags - Stepan - Nash
MZA - Richards - Callahan
Kreider - Miller - Gaborik
Newbury -Boyle - Asham

But then that third line looks **** again and Gaborik will not get going..
And why do MZA need a powerforward beside him when he is a playmaker?
I would rather pair him up with Gaborik to get him going.

But I agree with you kinda about the system. Gaborik, Zucc, Richards, Kreider, Miller doesn't fit in Torts system.

Edit; Like this then;
Hags - Stepan - Nash
MZA - Boyle - Gaborik
Kreider - Richards - Callahan
Newbury - Powe - Asham

2-1 Rangers.

Stepan
Gaborik
Gionta

All goals scored in the 3rd.

I don't know what's funnier, the fact that you have Ghost scoring in your prediction, or that you think we're winning in Montreal, or that you predict the Rangers scoring more than 1 goal.

I really want this damn streak of getting our ***** kicked in Montreal to end. I hope they pull it through.

I don't think the third line looks like ****. At least not if Miller can find his game again. Kreids and Gabs on the same line means there's a good deal of speed and two good shooters to defend against.

I think MZA should play with a powerforward because of his size and defensive shortcomings. In the past he's looked verry good playing with guys like Dubinsky. With Cally and Richards on his line (or Kreids and Richards like today) he should be teamed with enough firepower.

Please tell me who out of Callahan, and Richards is a PFWD. The only PFWD we have is Kreider. Pyatt is too washed up. MZA needs room to pass. I would honestly put him on the third line to try to spark Miller, and whoever else is on his line. If anyone can do it, it's Zuccarello. He needs PP time too.

I'll blame it on the beer. Should have said TWFD. I prefer Zuc to be paired with a good two way forward. For reasons already given.

Gaborik deserves to be on the 4th line, or in the pressbox. Im hoping hell score 12 in the final games after the deadline, to raise his value for an offseason trade. Until then i could care less where and when he plays. Im fed up with his lack of gumption

Tonight is about so much more than MZA. It's about a team that welcomes a players back and a team that NEEDS to make an important decision for themselves. It's their season, their careers. They can all choose to take control and by control I mean move outside of Torts' strict system by taking chances, handling the puck into the zone and making "risky" neutral zone transitions and playing pucks that Marty advances in an aggressive fashion. It's time for the players to say enough is enough and with a new face in the locker room, it just might get them thinking a bit more for themselves.

it's getting pathetic watching guys slam the puck in when they can just carry it in no problem and then skate either lackluster to retrieve or float back into the neutral zone confused.

Callahan is a grinder, who has a second line skillset, but is more suited to play in a checking role IMO. Richards is/was an elite playmaker. This year he has lost his legs, and the NHL has noticed. He is not a threat out there anymore, good for our rivals, bad for us.

Hey, I remember you saying after Ottawa that you're done with this abomination of a team and you won't be posting in the GDT anymore until Torts the clown is gone. I called BS then, and welcoming you back to the forum Jason. Enjoy your stay :D I won't hold it against you bro, I said we would both be back like suckers.

4-1 loss

If anybody truly thinks we win........ you need to open your eyes. This team just doesnt have enough heart this year.

Not heart = no winning

I said I won't watch. I'll hang in the GTD and PGT but just not watch. It's bad fan-ship but it's like watching Bambi's entire family get killed in an extended 3 hour special HD edition.

Moral vicorty Rangling Bros circus starting Torts th Clown score a goal but lose .
Lowest and worst I've felt about a ranger team well since Torts took over and we missed the playoffs the last time

This may be the most accurate analogy in history.

Actually no, you're wrong because at least those hunters could hit what they shot at.
