Things were already looking grim and the team would have caved down 3-0. To score right afterwards may have changed the game.

Ron Hextall played sick in a game at Detroit. Gave up three goals in the opening period and then vomited in view of the world. Off the ice he skated. Flyers trailed 5-1 then out-scored the Red Wings 10-1 from that point. Woo. Halfway there.
