a little negative reinforcement by going to the 4th line is probably pretty good for him.
a lot of negative reinforcement by going to Hartford seems like overkill

Lemieux's skating continues to impress. His speed has improved immeasurably over last season...he's ALOT faster and quicker which gives me hope for Kakko as he has to improve his skating bigtime.

If Kakko hasn't talked to him yet, he should talk to Lemieux and ask him what he did and who trained him over the offseason...pronto!!

I don't think it's surprising that he's been a bitter better as a 4th liner, then when he was getting 15+ minutes a game.

this is so stupid. there have been and are currently a ton of very effective 1st lines with a plugger on it, or someone less skilled with the puck but very skilled with their role.

this isn't a video game where you sort-by-overall-number --> 1st liner

Kakko needs to get faster and quicker on his skates before he even gets close to being the guy who we thought we drafted. He seems to be skating in mud most of the time.
