One of our players is out with a day-to-day Butt Injury, if we can't crack a couple jokes about that on a hockey message board when the game isn't going on I just don't know.

I didn't support removing the OT thread. I even made an epic shoot post bashing all the mods when it happened.

Everyone said it would simply cause the OT thread type posts to filter into the regular threads, and it has.

Maybe not. If you're trying to create different dynamics with different lines, it could just be that Boyle is defensively responsible allowing two speedsters to do their thing. Pyatt with the other two would be more about puck control.

I'd personally like to see Hags with Richie and Nash because I think his speed and work ethic opens up the ice for Nash more when they play together.
 
Nash and hags had chemistry last year has AV even tried that? Not that I think it would matter at this point, this team has no JAM

I'm sure Dorsett is ready to go, miss that guy, can we give you Gaborik back for Dorse?! We are thrilled with Dubi, I would have traded Nash for Dubi one up, Nash is too laid back, never shows that fire. Good luck tonight, hopefully it's a good one!

Every game I've had high hopes that we have a real chance at winning.

Today, not so much.. we're in infinite trouble when Taylor Pyatt is a 2nd line winger. Sather better be calling everyone

That's hilarious in hindsight because during that entire fiasco the majority of Jackets fans were telling Ranger fans that Dubi in a package wasn't even a starting point for Nash.

I wasn't a moderator at the time the OT thread was nixed, but it was nixed because the culture that developed in the OT thread began to permeate in the hockey-only threads. We tried multiple times, and each time that happened. So we haven't tried again since.

When we delete memes/insides jokes, it's because they're off-topic and most of your fellow posters don't appreciate wading through them to get to hockey discussion. We're being responsive to complaints, not being merciless killjoys. This is a hockey forum first and foremost. If you want to buddy-buddy with some posters, there are other ways of doing it without being annoying the greater community. Go to the Lounge. Or PM them.

Maybe the mods will revisit the idea of an OT thread in the future. Being civil about it with us is a coin in your favor. Spamming threads and crying foul when we delete them is probably not a coin in your favor.

I was def in the minority there, I was glad to ship Nash out! Just wish we had Dorse back!

Not to mention, the defense has been atrocious this year and its pissing him off. This all contributes to a losing season, which is where the Rangers are at right now.

Hank isn't part of the problem, he's part of the solution. The offense is the real problem.

Bottom line, the team needs to show up in front of Hank just as they would in front of Talbot. He is the number 1 goalie for a reason.

Why's it so difficult to see the OBVIOUS middle ground on Hank?

Anything anyone says about his career here is true. Hes been the teams best player for 8 years and still is, but he has struggled this year and could say hes even cost us some games.

Our offense hasn't really been good for the most part of Hank's time here. He would steal games and make the big save. This year he hasn't been that type of goalie. (You could say he stole the Dallas game, perhaps. Great first period when we got worked.)

the other fourth line is... well..... um
