Well as of right now nobody is being taken out for Zuccarello, and that is a serious mistake. He skated today, he should skate tomorrow and Saturday AM and should be inserted into the lineup Saturday night. Waive Pyatt if you there's no trade market for him and get Zucc's in.

Knowing Torts though? Zucc doesn't play a game for the Rangers this season He's an RFA at year's end and has no contract in Russia. I hope he has the opportunity to show the Rangers why they should be keeping him around.

Pyatt should sit no doubt. Boyle has been ok but he should be nowhere near the 2nd line. I like Newbury better than Boyle, but Boyle is invaluable on the pk I guess.

Because the team desperately needs momentum and points and they're coming off their most complete effort of the season, granted it was against a defensively inept opponent. Also, because Zucc is a scorer who should play with some talent and Pyatt is a grinder who should be on the fourth line. Putting Zucc on the fourth isn't going to do him or the team any favors.

I'll give torts the benefit of the doubt on this for now since MZA has been in NA for a day and we won pretty decisively (give or take a few minutes in the third) last game. I'd still rather see Zucc in the lineup, especially on the powerplay. He and Powe at least can play special teams. Pyatt just looks like a zombie out there.

Regardless, Let's Go Rangers! If we win I couldn't care less who we're icing.

This. We just went through a couple weeks of *****ing that Torts had separated Hags-Steps-Nash, and now that suddenly Richards had a good game between Kreider and Boyle we want to alter the chemistry? Argue all you want about whether Boyle contributed anything to that line/on Kreider's goal but why not at least give them another shot? If it's not working you can bet Torts will switch it up before the end of the first period.

They played a lot of terribad opponents that Richards didn't have good games against. This team is going to live and die with Richards this year. I don't care if he plays best with Asham on one wing and a broom on the other, play him with whoever he works with and try to get him going.

I don't think Zucc is better than Pyatt when it comes to grinding with Asham and Newbury. If there's a top 9 opening, Zucc should be in it over Pyatt. For fourth line duty, I'd rather have Pyatt.
