I mean, right now he's on pace to score like 18-19 goals over 82 games. That ain't bad. And it's not like he has an inflated shooting % where even that pace isn't likely to continue. He's shooting a sustainable 9.2%.

Only much ealier in the season than Hintz last season. Hintz at this point last year was still getting send down . Denis is not going down anymore.

Big difference between Guryanov and Nichushkin is that one is a talented shooter, the other is not.

Look at his goals against Anaheim and Montreal . He has a really good shot . He just seems unsure at times wether he should shoot , deke or pass so he is too hesitant at times .

He also rang a howitzer off the crossbar early in the 2nd . He rushed his shots on the breakaways imho. He has a great shot when he doesn't do that.

I actually didn’t think Gurianov would break through at the NHL level I didn’t think he thought the game fast enough. Glad I was wrong on this one he has look dangerous

Roope Hintz had this exact issue last season. Weak shots on prime scoring chances. Gurianov's shooting is just him rushing himself to get his shot away, his shot itself is not an issue

Yea, you can tell when he has time to think about his shot and when he just lets it rip.
