I'd say it's a boring game due to star power missing, but the boys are busting their asses. You cannot fault that. It's just more-so an AHL game out there.

it's all the same play. getting the puck first shouldn't matter. I don't feel like reading through the rule book right now, but I doubt it says "its not a penalty shot if they get the puck first, but it's still a 2 minute minor"

“If, in the opinion of the Referee, a player makes contact with the puck first and subsequently trips the opponent in so doing, no penalty shot will be awarded, but a minor penalty for tripping shall be assessed.”

Wasn’t called a penalty shot because they must have deemed he came from the side not from behind?

That's life, man. That's how my life is with football. I used to love football. Time is valuable. It's very valuable. And when you get older, you realize that. So investing in something like a sport/entertainment becomes a lot less of a need.

Fair enough, don’t agree with that though. I’m for calling more penalty shots then less..
