I think that’s fine for now. They’re not going to break him. This kid is driven. Every NHL game he plays is one step closer to becoming a special player.

Could he work on fundamentals in Hartford? Yeah. But I’d rather he be overmatched than under-matched. Plus it would actually hurt the Rangers a bit. Sending Lias down obviously did not.
