[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

It doesn’t happen too often, but I’ll take as many as I can get.
And after that it seemed like we started to roll. Our PP got us back in it. And we just couldn’t finish it off.
- Arron Asham

The way things have been going, I knew if they scored the next goal it was going to be a really tough night for us.
The fourth line came out and played really well all night, I think. They turned it around for us.
- Henrik Lundqvist

I thought Kreider was skating well and he was on the puck.
I wanted to try and get Gabby a different look with another line maybe against another defensive pair.
Chris is doing the things we’re asking him to do, almost scores. That Richards line I think needs someone to chase down some pucks.
- John Tortorella

Heads Up: The GDT is work in progress.

Please break apart the Nash-Richards-gaborik line! It's a soft line and Nash (who needs to be our best players) disappears. Tortorella broke them during the last game and it looked immediately better having Gaborik and Nash on separate lines.

Oh good, the GDT. I can start posting my pessimistic and sarcastic predictions for the game.

The Flyers almost beat the Penguins and the Penguins are the best in the East, therefore the Flyers will beat the Rangers. Infallable HF logic. Do not attempt to debate it.

Seriously though another 1-2 goal affair that ends poorly. The pre-trade deadline panic ensues. Trade all the players. Fire Torts. Fire Sather. Change the ugly logo. Run Dolan bankrupt. Burn MSG down. Relocate to Antarctica. Start watching professional penguin herding, polar bear rodeos, and syncronized seal swimming.

By the way Loffen there's a typo in the Rangers stat leaders section. You have Brian "Gentle Ben" Boyle leading the team in hits. Clearly that is incorrect.

This is a huge opportunity for two points, considering the next two games are in Ottawa and in Montreal (LOL).

Have to get two in regulation here. If they don't, I'm afraid this slump will continue for quite some time.

2 wins in their last 7. Five of a potential 14 points. This team has issues, people.

Make THIS the turnaround game.

Could Marty get the start tonight? Seems like forever since he last started.

Feelin' good about this one, boys...4-3 win, Hamrlik with the game winner.

Let's Go Rangers!

:yo:

How many times have we said this only to be let down the very next game?

Really need to win this one. The rest of the regular season for the Rangers needs to be approached as if it was game 7 in the Stanley Cup Finals :)

Agree.

Put Nash with Stepan

if we don't win tonight, i'll spend most of tomorrow (my birthday) being mad about it. so lets win. for happiness.

not because they have to or anything.

And playing the panthers and washington weren't huge chances to get two in regulation?

The ****ing Panthers?

I like the logo

Of course it was. This team is a joke. I'm saying, if they don't get two in regulation tonight, after the next three games I'm going to call it quits on the season for this squad with this coach.

Remember the last part of my post?

2 wins in last 7; 5 of 14 points. I'm in no way, shape, or form apologizing for this team or making excuses.

They suck. They need to stop sucking.
