That PP1 sounds horrible if I'm being honest.

It’s been horrific lately anyway. The second PP unit has been the one actually making things happen. I was hoping to view it as a Benn demotion but I guess not.

Nichushkin makes me sad.. I always felt he was really capable.. but .. no goals? just retire fam.

Klingberg is due back around Xmas - could be before or after but likely for sure before January.

Bayreuther has been really good for us. He's a 24 year old undrafted college free agent signed rookie(was our #1 dman in the AHL), but a solid PP QB with a massive slapshot. He actually plays a really solid 2-way game (5 pts in 12 games) with some pretty tough minutes with Roman Polak to form a nice 2nd pairing for us. I fully expect him to stay on the NHL roster for the remainder of the season, even when guys start coming back. He's exactly what we wanted Julius Honka to be for us this season, except he is miles better than Honka at just about everything

I'm saying he's been really good for us during this bad stretch of injuries. Not much of an overstatement but I suppose "solid" or just "good" works too. He's been more than I could've expected
