Excellent, enjoy leave, basic will be over before you know it. San Antonio in early spring should be pretty sweet. August/Sept, maybe not so much. Given your MOS, it should be interesting!

Exactly, I chose this time of year for training specifically for the weather. I should be graduating AIT in April I think, so that should make for decent Texas weather, though much of the not so hands on training for Combat Medic should be in the class room anyway
