They weren't playing well.

That KZB line was mostly Z and B playing really well together. Kreider has played well before with Zucc, played well with Stepan, he plays well on every line. If there's no Z, the first choice should be K with B and some center, but if they are struggling, I'm fine splitting that line up, as long as they are both still getting top 6 ice time, which they aren't because Mr. Empty Net and Mr. Grit are now top 6 forwards for AV.

When Zibanejad returns though, the line needs to be put back together.

It almost seems like Dallas is less than the sum of their parts. At least on the scoreboard in this game. So much firepower.
But Pavelec must be learning some stuff from Benny. He looks composed and calm. So impressed because I have watched Pavelec play from time to time for years.
