I'm the only one - I miss the old end-of-period buzzer. It was like a game show sound effect that was unique.
 
Average period. great work by BR on the goal but we haven't had many chances, and after the first few minutes neither have they.

Nash needs to get more involved. Cally needs to get his head out of his arse
 
I don't know how Zuccarello was credited with an assist on the Richards goal, but will take it.

NJD playing their hockey, but honestly if they want to win they will have to draw power plays.

Im a little concerned about Callahan. In the past, even when he wasnt scoring, he'd play a smart, hard nosed game.

Hes been way too quiet, and hes handling the puck like a hand grenade. If the contract is an issue, hes not going to get a bit of a gift like Lundqvist did.
 
Very bad period. Devils the better team. I just feel sorry for the Captain. Hurts to see him so weak and uninspired.
 
Zucc and Falk are still credited with the assists on the goal at nhl.com. How long after a goal can they change it?

Agreed. For a superstar player, he needs to be more consistent.

Whenever but they typically don't seem to bother unless the goal scorer himself is in question.

To me it looks like the puck goes: Hank - Zuke - Falk - (past) Zuke - Richards - Goal

I have never seen it changed after more than a few minutes. If they still are credited, it think it will stand.

If so, Zuke now is 2nd in assists for the team (together with Richie).
