On that replay, you can see Rust standing there watching, he’s not even in a spot for a good shot either, Tanev is right there in front of the net and another Leaf right behind him, the separation he’d get is nothing, Sid meanwhile has 2 leafs watching him and it ends up going nowhere.

Really? I thought Hayes was more noticeable on that line, Glass being quiet and not noticeable is a good thing as a 4C with his back checking and forechecking. Hope he keeps building on just playing, if by mid season he can move up to 3C, that’d be great.

He's always been the type of player who shows up big during the playoffs.

From an outsider perspective, I just don't get the consensus that Penguins are missing the playoffs.
Especially when Sullivan has shown this year he is willing to adapt

Could end up being a very good bottom 6 C for us, the one thing I am glad they identified was using him as a C, pleasantly surprised by a group of dipshits that coach this team. They had him play RW a lot in pre-season and that was just dumb, they wasted so many games where they could have had him at C and another player at RW with him.
