Korchinski a shift before made a sick outlet to Nazar to spring him for a breakaway (something Korchinski did even last year springing guys for breakaways and them not converting) and is probably the best passing defenseman on the team for my money, yet gets shitted on for a couple of deflection goals. Hilarious.

What about his game do you like? To me he just doesn’t show…. Well, much of anything. Doubled down by the fact he just plays like he’s scared to be out there.
Meanwhile Lev and Rinzel jumped in and you just see it day 1.
This is KK’s 87th game and I still just haven’t really seen anything I like, let alone love, about his game.

Those goals against KK weren't totally his fault, one was a beauty tip and the other just bounced in off his skate.
Still, there is a big difference between what he's looked like today and what guys like Rinzel and Lev have looked like today. They are generating chances, Korchinski isn't.

We all know we're not keeping every single player and pick by the time the rebuild is over
I don't know everyone's rationale for trading Korch, I can only speak for myself. I look at a package of him + the Toronto 1st + the Florida 1st... could get a really nice piece.
No rush to do so, of course.

No offence, but I honestly think most people just aren’t good at evaluating Dmen. KK has excellent skating, and probably the best breakout pass on the team. He has improved his physicality and is still only 20 years old.

I mean, there’s six that play per game. Tonight they benched one who was playing better than him. So you may not need to trade him right now, but perhaps he needs more time in Rockford.

Rinzel looks damn good. Korchinski is the clear odd man out of this young defensive core. Future top 4 looks like;

Forget draft pedigree. Just look for good players. Plenty of packages we can put together with an abundance of picks and prospects we have.

On the Donato goal ,Bedard with a Generationsl flub shot on his first attempt,where are tge hands? THEN a routine shot on the rebound shot and Then Donato gets the goal off the 2nd rebound.

Rinzel is going to be so tough to play against when he gets a little older and adds some weight.
Rinzel very good. One bad sequence with the puck and got lit up.

Korch hasn’t developed as much as Rinzel yet and isn’t as talented as Lev. He also just doesn’t ooze composure to me. Everything is out of control and rushed. There are things that I like, I like the skating I like the first pass
He’s 20 years old. Clearly a lot of runway there but considering our situation I think it makes sense to move him earlier rather than later.
