GDT: 3/3/25 - 7:00PM EDT - Tampa Bay @ Florida

  • Xenforo Cloud has upgraded us to version 2.3.6. Please report any issues you experience.
Tampa finds out that when you play like shit against a good team for most of the night, you get 0 points. The game was very winnable. Oh well, need to bounce back tomorrow to try and keep pace. I'd start Vasy again tbh, but I'm sure it'll be JJ so hopefully the offense can score at least 4.

Lilleberg has really lost his edge. Started after the first Boston game, then he takes the Frederic fight and hasn't mixed it up since then. The one time he tried stepping up on someone after that, got suspended. Since then he hasn't been bad, but the physical factor is just nonexistent. He needs his mojo back.

if there's anything to be optimistic about we've only allowed one total 5v5 goal in three games against the cats

Division is still in reach, as they can still pull within 1 point of Florida by winning the games in hand and can close on Toronto if they can actually win the last one against them. JBB needs to find 2 guys who can score in the middle 6, plain and simple.

The Bolt's season has been pretty up and down from month to month

October: 7-3-0
November: 5-6-2
December: 8-3-0
January: 7-8-1
February: 7-0-1

Take from that what you will. Hopefully we don't have any issues in March coming off a really good win streak, and potentially adding to the lineup at the deadline.

Don't have enough elements on this team to compete with the Panthers if they're playing at the top of their game. Even doubled them in PP chances and couldn't get it done. Definitely had a shot to win this game still, Bobrovsky and the post/crossbar came up big. Our lack of formidable bottom 6, and Florida's imposing D really stood out as glaring differences in this game. Seth Jones...that was a pretty damn good debut.
