GDT: 3/29/25 - 2:00PM EDT - New York Islanders vs Tampa Bay

Moser has been a different player since his injury; I think ve seen him get undressed twice in the last few weeks. Might have been just a limited sample pre-injury

The Islanders shouldn't exist. Boring ass team in the middle of a boring suburb, not a cool color scheme/brand either. I'm fine with the Devils being in North Jersey, I like the jersey and colors much better than the Islanders

Now assuming Kucherov doesn't score anymore, him and MacKinnon would be tied in points with 9 games remaining for both.

He is by far the most overrated player on this team, and I don't mean it as an insult against him...people just needed to pump the brakes on the guy. If he was traded from Utah for a couple picks instead of Serg, we wouldn't have seen such effusive praise for him early on.

He is the very clear #4 on this team, and there's nothing wrong with that, he is a good young player. But it was just crazy seeing people say he is more important than Cernak.

It's actually unthinkable that Kucherov isn't in the discussion for the Hart. He continues to lead the league in PPG (with less empty net points than MacK lol), has driven a top PowerPlay despite thoughts of regression in Stamkos' absence, and has had probably the best defensive season we've seen from him (with many advanced stats having him as a very effective d-player).

But is he a Canadian born Center?

This clip I took from a TSN article ranking players from last season still makes me laugh.

This was half way through the season mind you.

Canadian media bias is a hell of a thing.

Im not trying to talk politics or something like this but maybe...just maybe if Kuch wins points race and cuz Trump is back relations with Russia is building again and Ovi beats a record, than Kuch will get his Hart trophy which he supposed to get last year, he will get it this year cuz it wont be toxic(?) to give a Hart trophy to Russian guy

I doubt Moser is all the way back yet either, and he's having some problems maybe because of that. In any case, he's still a very capable #3/4 and is young enough to still take another step as well. Hopefully, he's with the team well past these next two years.
