GDT: 3/28/25 7:30 Knights @ Hawks CHSN

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Kaiser is playing incredible. I donno how they gonna figure out who to keep. Not my job thank goodness.

Great problem to have going forward

The fact Kaiser and EDM can play both sides likely has them both on the team to start next year with Murphy, Lev and Vlasic. Not sure who the other two spots are. Maybe Crevier as a 6/7 and other spot will be interesting

Am i the only one who sees legit potential in Kaiser? I swear im surprised by his mobility and skill at least once a game

His skating is beautiful. He's got nice vision as well and can really pass the puck. I question the decision making at times and I question whether he'll ever have enough offense in his game to not be a puck moving bottom pairing defenseman but I do like him. For me.. Vlasic, Levshunov and even Rinzel are set. Del Mastro, Korchinski, Kaiser, Allan are the LHD Hawks need to figure out who to keep and who is tradeable for forward needs. Crevier is a 7th defenseman. Can stay or go.

The Hawks D has the potential to be absolutely stacked moving forward. So much talent there.
broken record but… if you want to rebuild right go defense first.

The fatal flaw of failed rebuilds. A boneyard of high octane offensive teams that just aren’t quite good enough at their peak. Toronto. Edmonton.

People are impatient by nature (especially sports fans). Stack the D and move any extra pieces for forwards where the return is likely to be favorable.

counter argument is we do not want to end up 2010s Nashville, so we need to get multiple high-end forwards around Bedard, argument for staying patient with rebuild although Knight and the d group might make that unlikely to happen

Nashville never had anyone as good as Bedard, so already ahead in that regard.

With bedard Nazar and like four other high quality lottery tickets and the cap space there is no chance we are Nashville.
