GDT: 3/23/2025 - 8:00PM EDT - Tampa Bay @ Vegas

Who would be surprised by a first round exit? Like, I don’t think anyone here is posting about how we’re going deep. It’s possible, but there isn’t anyone posting with supreme confidence.

Maybe because you've blocked half the board, but I've said several times this is a championship caliber team. This isn't the NBA, every round is tough and this fanbase has learned that the regular season doesn't mean much.

Any time the team has a bad stretch or a bad couple games its all "1st round exit" "this team has no chance" etc....

God, that must be the most miserable way to watch sports.
Imagine being happy that your favourite team loses because it validates your ego. Also as a side note I am always right all the time so screw you all.

Am I the only one who feels like we are actually the better team tonight?

Sans goals- which I’ve heard can make a difference.

I feel like Vegas has been extremely passive and opportunistic on their opportunities. Some of it is score effects, but I get what you're saying.

Too much standing around and straight legs.

Nobody putting out effort.

Lazy? Tired? Conserving energy?

Idk, but I do know that they can play better than this, and as long as they do that in the playoffs thats all that matters.

I get that it is the team's success that has raised everyone's bar. I guess I need to appreciate what we did have and not we don't have right now. So we run it back one more time next year then kaboom?

For the record, I do appreciate those amazing years we had. From losing to Chicago in the finals to losing to Colorado in the finals...that was one helluva run. Cooper proved to be a HOF coach. All that crow really improved my dad bod.

Waxing nostalgia on here...

I think it’s cool to be supportive and confident, also it’s rad to be sad. It just seemed weird to me that the one poster was all “tsk tsk”ing us about how we will all learn when we lose in the first and from the posts I see: yeah like that’s not shocking at all.

We had 43 wins with 70 games played the 2020 cup year. Tonight is game 70, we'll have 40 wins after tonight if we lose. But yeah, we're destined for a 1st round exit

I don’t have you blocked. The boards reset and I have blocked all the posters that just want to argue because it’s exhausting and I don’t care.

We can side by side those rosters...No reason to though...I mean...why? 2020 would beat this team 4-0 in the playoffs.

I'll wager any amount of money *wink*

It would be some fun stuff though.

I was about to post before the Paul goal that I'd take a 0-0 second period against Vegas, in Vegas, if not for the dumpster fire that was the first period. This second was more similar to some of what we liked about playing a road game in Dallas.

I am looking forward to seeing what this new look team does, we've got some guys I think are going to be monsters for us in the postseason...but we'll see
