Playing harder was something that we addressed after the first game. We didn’t think we competed hard enough, especially with one on one battles.
We thought we could’ve competed harder and I thought we did that tonight. From finishing our checks to making sure we were tough on them in the defensive zone and the offensive zone.

We just played a lot more desperate hockey. You don’t know if you’re going to win or lose. That’s not why we won. We didn’t just say we’re going to win.
We played a solid a first period. You could tell we were back in the game, everyone was physical and we handled our surges and that was a good sign.

Obviously, we got a little bit lucky on the third goal but part of this game you need a little bit of luck and we got it there.
