Imo they promised him a spot to get him here. He was the 3rd best out of Schneider, Jones and him in preseason.

hes one of the smallest guys I’ve seen physically in the league like ever. I mean not just height I mean his overall size looks like he wears an adult small if that.

he can’t make an outlet pass just absolutely panics. He’s not particularly shifty or agile ala Fox, If there’s anyone that should have a bone to pick with Chris Drury it’s Nick Jones

Montreal home opener is a tough assignment. Rangers did well to get out of the first 0-0.

When the season starts and your best players aren't playing like they should, just tells you they have the Kravstov complex and they'll turn it on when they're good and ready.
No over the summer training needed..

Somebody needs to leave a note in Artemi's locker after the first and let him know that the season has started.

Echoing my Panarin point, he just had that terrible blind pass to the point that went the other way, he felt bad about it, and was below the goal line on defense to fix his f*** up. He still cares.

Mika ain't doin that shit. Kreider doesn't even know where his own zone goal line is. Thems the problems. Panarin will correct himself.

Don't agree with the call-up or line choice, but McKegg was actually good that period. Won an important PK faceoff and was one of the better forecheckers/pressure forwards

I hear what you're saying but they have one of the least efficient d at moving the puck out and so far too easy for them

On top of this lackluster offense I need to listen to Sam and Joe miss the most obvious offsides call...

Not a bad period, if we get it together in the 2nd this Montreal team doesn't seem to be that threatening or impressive.
