Despite what Joe said, the slot wasn't Namestnikov's responsibility, it was Zuccarello's. Both D went behind the net, Howden covered right in front. Zuccarello, for some reason, skated to the far post. Namestnikov was in the right position covering up high.

Did you watch him before coming to NY? He was rumored to be coming to NY for like 2+ years, if you check the descriptions from the fans that saw him play I think this basically what people were trying to describe.
