Normally I hate that talk of how injuries are just an excuse because that's the sort of nonsense that's always easy to say when you're aa lardass sitting on your couch eating fritos but damn it's a bit disappointing to see Wilson act like this team can't be held accountable because Burns is out and Clowe is whatever it is Clowe is.

The Ducks missed Fowler for a big chunk of games and didn't go on a twenty game losing streak. Going to have injuries, I know we've been spoiled with the lack of any big ones over the last few years but if this team can't absorb an injury or two without curling up in the fetal position than there's something more wrong than getting one single guy back in the lineup is going to fix.

Who's top heavier than the penguins and even they don't collapse this way when it's Sid himself getting knocked out of the lineup or Malkin or even both at the same time.

Ottawa's been playing really well in spite of injuries.
