I obviously want Kakko to be great now and get more ice time. However, he just doesn't move his feet. He's hardly ever skating. Always gliding and never working to get into open areas.

He doesn't do anything with speed. Dudes skates are in concrete. Needs a skate coach badly.

You’ve gotta be borderline Jaromir Jagr level strength and skill to get away with highly subpar skating and motor as a skill forward.

That's fixable at least. I think here in Finland many of our players have had issues with skating, Barkov, Laine, Rantanen... And all have managed to fix it during summer training. So I'm not worried.
