Look, I figured it would take a few games for the chemistry to be fully restored for the line, so I think the problem is less about guys 'trying to skate' and more about guys overthinking things out there. As a result, the timing is off, and guys find themselves in bad positions as a result.

Not excusing Jake's penalty, mind you. Just saying that I don't think the issue is effort here. In the same vein, you could say Geno and Rust seem to be trying to force things, but I think that's about timing and the line getting back into a groove too.
