Right now pp is back to the horrid pp we all have grown accustomed to. Really 1 for their last 30 if not for 2 fluke goals from carey and DD.
And a first line that really isn't one right now. We need 4 lines to be going for sure.

I don't know how NJ record is as good as it is.
When you have Gibbons leading your team in goals and wunder-kid Jesper Bratt coming out of nowhere, your record looks like that.

Also helps to have an elite winger like Taylor Hall on the roster.

99% chance that Gibbons scores tonight.

I agree that the Devils are overperforming. Doesn't mean they arent a surprise team this year, but Gibbons being on pace for 30 goals is Aaron Voros territory.

Without Zibanejad the PP crumbles.

He's past Aaron Voros territory. Voros' career-high was 8.

How convincing is the empirical evidence on playing goalies high numbers of games and poor playoff performances?

Seems to me it depends on the goaltender. Tim Thomas was shit if he went over over 59 games a season, but Hank's gone deep multiple times playing over 62 games.

I'm not worried about overplaying him, I've never seen anything that says Hank gets worn out. The only time there was an issue was his first season when he was out there playing through headaches or some shit against the Devils.

Hall has been playing well from what I have seen, though that is not very often.
Please come out prepared Rangers.

I think he hurt his hip in that series, and Jagr hurt his shoulder, it was terrible, I was at Game 1 of that series 06.

Anything can happen here. Devils are really strong on the road, and the Rangers are equally strong @ home.

Prediction will be few goals, maybe 2-1 or a shutout for one or the other.
